Research Interest

Nanomaterials for Solar Application

Research Overview

Research interest: Dr. Cui's research is mainly focused on nanotechnology, semiconductor nanomaterials and their potential applications. Nanomaterials of interest include metal oxides, metal sulfides, carbon nanotubes, graphene, and chalcogenides. Optical and electrical properties of the nanostructures are studied for device applications, with special interest in renewable energy, photonics, detectors, and bio- and chemical sensors.
