BME Students Present Research at the TN State Capitol in Nashville

On February 15, 2023, two BME undergraduate honors students, Ethan Wales (2nd from L; advisor Dr. Joel D. Bumgardner) and J. Christian Huang (3rd from L; advisor Dr. Gary L. Bowlin) were among the 6 students from the UofM invited to present their research and educate legislators on importance of STEM at the TN State Capitol in Nashville. UofM students were joined by students from eight other Tennessee state universities. The students selected for this prestigious event represent the best of undergraduate research in STEM disciplines at their own institutions.
