Prior to this position, Ms. Hudson spent eleven years in the College of Communication and Fine Arts (CCFA), and eight years in the Admissions Office. Some of her roles and responsibilities at the University of Memphis have included graduation analyst in the CCFA dean’s office, success advisor, and admission analyst. She has worked on the academic catalog and specialized in student retention partnering with the Center for Academic Retention and Enrollment Services, CARES office and Academic Coaching Excellence, ACE.
These roles have helped her learn the student enrollment process allowing her to better assist students at every level from admission to graduation. As Director of Student Services, she will supervise the undergraduate advising program and provide training and resources to college advisors. She will coordinate services for students and will oversee the processing of applications for undergraduate graduation including research of degree programs, communication with faculty advisors about student’s individual requirements, and discussions with students concerning completion of degree requirements. While serving on various committees, she will consult with the Assistant Dean regarding general education curriculum and transfer credit evaluation.
