Late and Retroactive Withdrawals for Undergraduate Students

Late withdrawals and retroactive withdrawals are requests to drop all courses taken during the petitioned semester after the final date to withdraw from classes has passed. These may be granted in cases that are 1) serious and 2) unforeseen and 3) beyond your control, i.e. car accident, job transfer, death of an immediate family member, etc.  Petitions are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Student must withdraw from all courses in the petitioned semester.  If the withdrawal petition is approved, the student will not be eligible for another withdrawal in future semesters.
