Study Abroad: Teaching English as a Foreign Language in Pilsen, Czech Republic

Working with participants of the University of West Bohemia’s International Summer Language School, participants will complete coursework in TEFL techniques and skills, while gaining valuable experience actually teaching conversational English as a Foreign Language. With no additional cost, participants can complete online work before and after the program to earn a 100-hour TEFL Certificate, the introductory credential for teaching EFL outside the U.S. The certificate entails an intensive course of 100 classroom hours, teaching twelve practice classes comprised of adult EFL students, and a professional portfolio. Additionally, students earn between 3-6 credits (Practicum hours and/or the Techniques in EFL course).

Open to undergraduate and graduate students
