The purpose is to provide an outlet for students matriculating at the University of Memphis to present their research to a panel of faculty judges in their respective disciplines. This forum enables students to develop their presentation skills and present their research in a formal, supportive environment.

NEDXSTUDENTS

grad school flyerNEDtalks is a bi-annual research forum hosted by the Ned McWherter Library where UofM faculty, instructors, and students share recent research in engaging & entertaining short-form presentations in the TEDtalks style. One event of the year is dedicated to UofM faculty & instructors. The second event, NEDxStudents, is dedicated to UofM students. The Libraries partners with the Graduate School and Helen Hardin Honors College for NEDxStudents, and a panel of judges awards the best presentation of each day a monetary prize.
