Herff: A Place for Learning, Collaboration, and Growth

The Herff College of Engineering at the University of Memphis is committed to fostering an environment where every member of our community feels valued and connected. Our faculty, staff and students bring a wide range of experiences, interests and perspectives that enrich both learning and collaboration. Engaging with people of different backgrounds not only strengthens the education of our students but also creates a stronger, more supportive workplace for our faculty and staff.

One of the ways we celebrate our community is through a flag display on the second floor of our Engineering Administration building, representing the many countries and heritages that are part of Herff College. This display serves as a reminder that engineering is a global endeavor, and that innovation grows when people come together, share ideas and work toward common goals.
