School Break Visit Days 

The University of Memphis offers engaging campus visit experiences during select school breaks. We encourage you to monitor this page for available dates. These visits include opportunities to learn from admissions, financial aid, scholarships, and campus departments, along with a guided tour of campus.

Before the Visit

Parking

We recommend that guests park in the Zach Curlin Parking Garage located at 505 Zach Curlin Street, Memphis, TN 38152. The Zach Curlin Parking Garage is listed as PG2 on the campus map. Parking is free for guests and you will receive your parking pass at check-in. 

Event Location

School Break Visit Days will start in the University Center River Room with an admissions information session and an opportunity to meet with our admissions staff to ask questions you may have. 

Lunch

Join us for lunch in the Tiger Den, our all you can eat buffet style eatery on campus.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is an open house? 

An open house is an opportunity to meet with a campus department of your choice. Depending on the open house, you might tour a building, sit in on a session, have a meeting with a faculty member, meet student ambassadors, or many more options. Each open house differs but has the primary goal of providing you with the opportunity to explore your area of interest! 

2. What if I want to go to more than one open house? 

Unfortunately, students will only be able to attend one open house during their visit. Though, if you would like to schedule a meeting with a department outside of the day - feel free to reach out to the department directly! 

3. Is the event free? 

Yes! We are happy to have you on campus and lunch is included for all registered prospective students and their registered guests.
