Welcome back to the University of Memphis! As a readmitted student whose last Academic Status was not Good Standing, there are a few additional requirements that you must meet during your first semester back. Please review the details for your Academic Status and To Do List below.

If your status is Academic Suspension or Continuing Probation you must:

  • Sign a Conditional Enrollment Agreement (CEA): your assigned CARES counselor will provide this document after you have been readmitted. During this process he/she will discuss strategy for the semester and connect you with very helpful resources to support your success.
  • Bi-weekly Meetings with a CARES Counselor: throughout your first semester, you will be required to meet with a CARES counselor once every two weeks. During these meetings your counselor will discuss your progress in each course and help you navigate any difficulties you may have. Think of your CARES counselor as your personal success concierge. He/She will connect you with other university resources that will support you on your academic journey.
