Readmitted on Academic Probation or Suspension

Since students who are placed on Academic Probation (more than one time) or on Suspension may be at risk of Academic Suspension those students must complete a Conditional Enrollment Agreement with the Center for Academic Retention and Enrichment Services (CARES) and maintain consistent communication with a CARES counselor. Students on Academic Probation will be required to have an overall combined GPA of at least 2.00 OR a term GPA of at least 2.00 in order to continue enrollment at the University of Memphis.

NOTE: Even if the student returns to Academic Good Standing after an Academic Warning the student is placed on Academic Probation, if, in any subsequent term, their combined GPA falls below a 2.00 OR the term GPA is below 2.00.

Failure to satisfy these requirements may lead to Administrative Withdrawal from all classes for any future terms.
