Open 6:30 a.m.-7 p.m.

(Pool 5:30-8 a.m., 1-6 p.m.)

                                No group fitness classes.

 Race to Spring Break 5K

Visit the Recreation Center anytime between Feb. 23 and March 6. Run or walk 5K (3.1 miles) on a treadmill or elliptical; Take a selfie that shows you and your final distance/time; Post your selfie on Instagram using the hashtag #racetospringbreak or tag campus_rec_fitness. Show your selfie to the fitness attendant and collect a prize! Special prizes go to participants with the top three speeds.

Thurs., Feb. 26: Yoga (Recreation Center)

Fri., Feb. 27, Nutrition Seminar (11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Mitchell Hall, Room 403)



Try our new classes!


(Mondays at 4 p.m.). This class will feature stretches and movements that combine elements of yoga and Pilates. Participants will get a good core workout while also enjoying a great stretch. 

Total Body Conditioning

(Tuesdays at 4 p.m. and Fridays at 3 p.m.). This class will enable you to work out every part of your body. Core, plyometrics, stability, and body weight exercises will all be integrated into this total body workout.

Workout Recovery

(Wednesdays at 7 p.m.).  Had a couple of days of hard workouts? Feeling sore? Workout recovery uses a combination of stretching and relaxation exercises to help muscles recover and grow. 



Lifeguards wanted at Lambuth and Memphis Campuses.

Monday-Thursday, 6:30 a.m.-11 p.m. (Pool 5:30-8 a.m., 1-7 p.m.)

Friday, 6:30 a.m.-10 p.m. (Pool 5:30-8 a.m., 1-7 p.m.)

Buddy Workout Sessions

It’s always more fun to work out with a friend!
For only $20 per person, per session, you and a friend can work out together with a certified personal trainer!
Up to four participants can work out together during each session.
Open to students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members.
