Master of Science in Accounting (MS)

The Master of Science (MS) in Accounting program is a 30-credit-hour graduate degree, designed for those who hold undergraduate accounting degrees and aspire to achieve advanced accounting and business education.

Students can purse the MS in Accounting with one of these three (3) concentrations:

Master of Art in Economics (MA)

A master’s degree in Economics will prepare you with a solid foundation in economic theory and analysis; quantitative skills to effectively address research problems; and the ability to make significant contributions as a professional economist or within a functional area of business.

Master of Science in Business Administration (MSBA) with a concentration in Finance

The Master of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance (MSBA) program is a 33-hour program that has a typical graduation timeline of two (2) years.

The program offers the most in depth exploration of Finance & related topics of any of the master's programs offered at the University of Memphis. Prominent features of the program are the wide range of Finance electives, evening classes that are convenient to students working in the Memphis area and small class sizes.

Master of Science in Information Systems (MSIS)

The MSIS degree provides our students with courses that contain the core content of all information systems programs, with the content directed toward managerial-level activities. Courses often use team activities, case studies and real-world projects to focus on the types of knowledge and skills needed for effective management of an organization's communications technologies and its information resources. Specific MIS courses used as a basis for this program include topics such as business database systems, systems analysis and design, data communications & networks, computer hardware & system software and information systems management & planning.
