Outreach & Community Engagement
ACRE partners with The Cotton Foundation to create educational programs, targeting
students (Grade 3-6), to enhance understanding and appreciation of the cotton industry
and the importance of cotton in our daily lives, our history, and our society.
ACRE will partner with Junior Achievement of Memphis to provide interactive experiences to 8th grade students, introducing them to diverse career pathways in agriculture and conservation.
In collaboration with The Arc of Northwest Mississippi, we are develping new programs and curricula to enhance STEM competencies in Food and Agricultural Sciences for those in our community intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
ACRE engages youth and other community members in agriculture and conservation in Memphis and the Mid-South area. We create and promote ag-related STEM curriculum and programming for K-12. We work with students and teachers at Campus Elementary, University Middle and High School, Hutchison School For Girls, Collierview High School, Houston High School, White Station High School, and Lausanne Collegiate School. Contact ACRE for opportunities to collaborate.
