About Micheal J. Clinton, Jr.

Micheal is a higher education professional who has served at the University of Memphis working with first-generation college students, honors students and student leaders. He earned his bachelor’s from Centenary University in Hackettstown, NJ and moved to Memphis upon graduation in 2016 where he then earned his master’s degree in Leadership and Policy Studies. Currently, Micheal is studying for his PhD under the direction of Dr. Marina Levina in the UofM Communication department where he researches media studies, horror films and media technology. Micheal also currently serves as the co-chair for the campus’ Pride and Equity Alliance for Faculty and Staff and in his free time produces a podcast! Micheal is excited to help Health Sciences students explore their future passions, prepare for the careers that wait for them after graduation, and grow with Tiger Spirit!
