About Janine Scott
Janine Scott is the program director for the College of Health Sciences Surgical Technology program. She is a certified surgical technologist with more than 15 years of experience. Starting at the age of 18, she trained in plastic surgery and learned that surgery was where she wanted to be. In 2009, she went to college to become a certified surgical technologist. While working at Baptist hospital, she trained in many different specialties and served as the preceptor to many students working on their clinical rotation. She went on to work at the college as a clinical instructor for 2 years. After working in labor and delivery for the past 3 years, her love for teaching has brought her back into the teaching spotlight.
