Our Mission
The University Libraries Instructional Services team is committed to promoting information literacy: the ability to locate, evaluate, and use information to fulfill research and information needs. We welcome opportunities to collaborate with faculty, instructors, academic departments, and other areas of the campus community in such initiatives.

- In-person, no-appointment-needed research assistance is available at the RAD (Research Assistance Desk) in the McWherter Library First Floor Learning Commons. View our Opening Hours page for current RAD hours.
- Research Guides, Videos, Canvas Tutorials, Handouts, and other digital learning materials are available. Instructors may also request Library Research and Instruction Materials be created for their courses.
Instruction Services
*NOTE: The ML 225 and 226 classrooms are used primarily for library instruction. If
you wish to reserve them for non-library-instruction purposes, please review our Room Use Policies and follow the instructions there to submit your request.
