FNP-Health Education & Access for Rural Tennessean

The Family Nurse Practitioner-Health Education & Access for Rural Tennesseans (FNP-HEART) program was created thanks to a grant from the Department of Health and Human Services (HRSA) Advanced Nursing Education Workforce (ANEW). FNP-HEART provides traineeship funds for family nurse practitioner (FNP) students receiving clinical training in rural and/or medically underserved primary care practice sites in West Tennessee. The program's goal is to increase the number of advanced practice nurses interested in providing healthcare services to this population.
