Though UofM Students, faculty, and staff will have access to a bike for the semester
once they are members, the bike must be exchanged every two weeks for a freshly maintained
bike. Safety first.
The Tiger Bike Shop is open every Monday – Friday from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m., while UofM
classes are in session.
All Tiger Bikes and contact listings are only available on a first-come, first-served
basis. In order to manage returns/exchanges and provide quality services for our members,
a limited number of bicycles are released each day. For your convenience, e-mail or call the Tiger Bike Shop (during shop hours) in advance to verify bikes are available
or to secure a spot on the contact list if all bikes are out.
While an online membership purchase can be process prior to the start of classes,
Tiger Bikes will not be available to check-out until the first day of classes begins.
Membership purchases and check-outs can continue throughout the semester, however
the membership cost will remain a non-refundable $35 fee and cannot be prorated.

if all bikes are out. All Tiger Bikes and contact listings are only available on a

Each member will receive a helmet and u-lock and cable lock combo with key with each
Tiger Bike.
There is a $10 per day late fee for each day the Tiger Bike/accessories are not returned.
The Tiger Bike and Tiger Bike accessories are the responsibility of the member.
Tiger Bikes for students are funded through the green fee, while Tiger Bikes for faculty
and staff are made available by Physical Plant.
Depending upon prevailing weather conditions, all current members will be notified
by e-mail of any change to their assigned return dates.
