Health and Safety

Student Health Services
Students must schedule an appointment at the Health Center. The Health Center provides care for short-term, acute illnesses and injuries. The clinic houses a dispensary and frequently used prescription medications written by the Nurse Practitioners as well as several over-the-counter medications that can be purchased at a low cost. Counseling
Free counseling is available to currently enrolled students. The Counseling Center accepts walk-ins Monday-Friday between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm. Visit https://www.memphis.edu/counseling/ for more information. 

Safety on Campus 
Tiger Escort – A personal escort program staffed by students to enhance the safety of individuals on campus in the evening. This service is available 7 days a week from 6:00 pm-11:00 pm. To request an escort, call 901.678.4663.
After Tiger Escort hours, Police Services will provide escort services until dawn.
Safety Phones are located all around campus and are marked with blue lights. These phones call Police Services directly.
