Welcome

The Online Professional MBA program is designed for ambitious professionals whose demanding schedule and/or geographic location makes it difficult to attend classes in-person at the Fogelman College of Business & Economics.

Our top-flight, Online Professional MBA faculty provide you with synchronous and asynchronous instruction to give you 24/7 learning wherever and whenever you connect.

The Online Professional MBA program without a concentration is a 33 credit-hour program that consists of a 30 credit-hour Core (common to all of our MBA programs) and one three-credit-hour elective course. There are no prerequisite courses required for the core curriculum. The following three courses: ACCT 7050, Law, Ethics, and Corporate Governance; MGMT 7135, Leadership and Team-Building; and MKTG 7555, Creativity and Innovation, must be taken as a three-day, on-campus, residency course. These courses will be scheduled in the weeks before the beginning of a semester.

Pharmacists or pharmacy students enrolled in our MBA program may be interested in the Online Professional MBA Degree with a Pharmacy Practice Management Concentration.  This 45-credit-hour program is designed for current and future pharmacists who face the challenge of leading and managing large pharmacy operations, such as those in hospitals and community pharmacies, as a business enterprise.  The program can be taken on a part-time or full-time basis, with classes offered online and on campus during one residential week.

The deadline to apply for the Summer 2012 semester is May 1, while the deadline for the Fall 2012 semester is July 1. The on-ground residency course for the Fall 2012 semester will be ACCT 7050: Law, Ethics, and Corporate Governance. Dates and times will be announced later in the Spring 2012 semester.
