Celebrate All Things Sustainable at Tiger Blue Goes Green Oct. 9
October 3, 2018 - The UofM will celebrate all thing sustainable at Blue Goes Green 2018 Oct. 9 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the Student Plaza. The event is free and open to the public.
This year's theme is alternative transportation, with more than 30 vendors from the campus and community. Visitors can learn what sustainable commute options are best for them. In addition, there will be free lunch, free T-shirts and other prizes available. Everyone is invited to learn more about what UofM Green Fee supports and what is happening in sustainability on campus and in the City of Memphis.
Tiger Blue Goes Green is designed to encourage environmental awareness, inquiry and activism among students, faculty and staff. Along with green transportation, visitors will enjoy exhibits and learn about eco-friendly initiatives developed by the UofM and its community partners, recycling, job opportunities and more.
