UofM Board of Trustees Approves Tax Exempt Reimbursement Agreement

March 4, 2020 - The University of Memphis Board of Trusses approved a tax exempt reimbursement agreement at its meeting Wednesday. The agreement will allow the UofM to recover costs it incurs on capital projects where there may be an opportunity to pursue tax exempt bond financing before the bonds are issued.

In other business, the Board:

• Approved the University’s institutional mission;

• Approved the name change from the School of Health Studies to the College of Health Sciences;

• Approved the fiscal year 2020 risk assessment; and

• Approved the maximum bonus for President M. David Rudd.

The next meeting will be June 3.
