UofM Lambuth’s True Blue Day Coming Up March 23
March 9, 2024 — University of Memphis Lambuth Campus graduates are invited to this year’s True Blue Day on Saturday, March 23, to celebrate with the UofM Lambuth Alumni Chapter as outstanding alumni are honored, alumni from the Class of 1974 are inducted into the Half-Century Club and members of the 1999 Class are acknowledged with a quarter-century recognition ceremony.
This year’s award honorees are:
- Young Alumni Award: Katie Cochran (’14 BA, ’16 MS)
- Kristie Goldsmith Outstanding Alumna Award: Francesca McConnell (’93 BS)
- Mike Keeney Outstanding Alumnus Award: Scott Gordon (’95 BA)
- Gene Smith Friend of Lambuth Award: Tennessee State Sen. Ed Jackson
The Kristie Goldsmith Outstanding Alumna Award and Mike Keeney Outstanding Alumnus Award recognize Lambuth alumni for distinguished personal, career and service accomplishments with exemplary contributions to the business and philanthropic communities.
Outstanding Lambuth Alumni bring great pride to the University of Memphis and honor the fine tradition of Lambuth University. The Gene Smith Friend of Lambuth Award is given to non-graduates of the University who have greatly contributed to the school's success and mission.
The awards ceremony will conclude with the Half-Century Club induction and a special Quarter-Century recognition of the Class of 1999.
