STRONG RNs Application

Please note a few things regarding the application process: 

• Only complete applications will be considered. Be sure to answer all questions. 
• You will be asked some family income and tax status data on the applications. You will want to include data from calendar year 2020. 
• Applications are due by 5:00 pm on July 31, 2022. 
• You may apply for the STONG RNs and RNs LEAD scholarships. Applications are considered separately for each opportunity. 
• Award notifications will go out by August 17, 2022. 

If awarded, please also note the following: 

• The scholarship and stipend are to be applied toward your cost of attendance. 
  If you receive loans as part of your financial aid package, the scholarship AND stipend monies will reduce the overall cost of your loans for the semester. If this is the case, you will
• NOT receive any funds directly for the scholarship and stipend, only the loan reduction. 
• If you are self-pay, the scholarship and stipend will reduce your overall student bill and you will only be responsible for any remainder. If you have already paid some or all of your student bill, you will receive a refund for any amount paid that will be covered by your scholarship and stipend. 
• Awarding of these scholarships will most likely take place after student payment deadlines. As such, you must go ahead and pay tuition by the University and Student Business Services office established fee payment deadline.
