Building research collaboration to grow external funding
The University of Memphis and Meharry Medical College are working together to advance research and build collaborations between our University. This collaboration is part of a larger inter-institutional collaboration announced in December 2020. The Program to Enhance Collaborative and Interdisciplinary Research is a multipart engagement that includes:
- Seed Funding Grant for research teams that include faculty from both institutions conducting research that will lead to external funding
- Networking sessions designed to expose faculty at both institutions to research areas of interest of their counterparts
Information about this new program and the seed funding opportunities can be found at https://www.memphis.edu/research/researchers/funding/meharry/index.php. Faculty interested in applying for a seed funding grant can attend a UofM-Meharry Research Networking Lightning talk session on April 16 at 9:00 a.m. To RSVP for this session, please fill out this form or email researchdev@memphis.edu.
