Cayuse - Electronic Research Administration
Once you've identified your research interest, the next step is working with Cayuse.
If you are submitting a grant or contract to an external entity, it goes through the Electronic Research Administration (commonly known as Cayuse). This database of proposals/grant submission manager/post-award connection with grants accounting is one of the most important tools in the Division of Research and Innovation. The Office of Sponsored Programs guide faculty through submitting in Cayuse, and if you aren't sure where to start, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
There are three websites for Cayuse:
- Cayuse SP - used for all proposals and includes electronic routing (where faculty start).
- Cayuse 424 - used for submitting directly to grants.gov.
- Cayuse IRB - used for all Institutional Review Board considerations.
