Checklists, Instructions & Forms

While it is true that no two sponsors are exactly alike, most require similar types of information for use in evaluating your research proposal. This common information covers the technical aspects of your research proposal: qualifications of the research team members and information on other their other research support; access to facilities and resources that are needed to conduct the proposed work; and an explanation of the budgetary resources you will require, if funded. Each sponsor has its own variations and specific requirements for these documents; it is also important that you read the solicitation or program information carefully to identify any non-standard requirements. If you are unsure what documents you need to prepare or need help interpreting a solicitation, use our staff directory to locate your sponsored projects officer or research development team liaison, schedule a one-on-one meeting, or make plans to drop in for a visit during help hours held in various locations across campus.
