Research Assistant Professor Position (in Cyber Security)

The Department of Computer Science at the University of Memphis invites applications from outstanding candidates with research interests in cyber security and its related subfields including computer forensics, hardware security, privacy and cyber analytics at the Research Assistant Professor level.
Required qualifications include a Ph.D. in computer science or a related discipline, record of publications in cyber security. This non-tenure track position is initially for 12 months and is renewable based on performance and availability of funding.
The successful candidate will be joining a department with active research groups in network security, biologically-inspired computation, mobile health, data mining, high performance computing, and software engineering, that is currently ranked 55th in the nation in federally funded research. The department also offers an information assurance graduate certificate program and have undergraduate focus in cyber security.
