The Avron B. Fogelman Professional Development Center
Through the support of entrepreneur and business leader, Avron B. Fogelman, business majors have a Professional Development Center within FCBE. Through this Center, programs are offered to complement the academic coursework that students experience in the classroom and help them successfully make the transition into the business world. It’s the goal of the Center to prepare and place students to retain top talent locally!

The Complete Professional Program
The Complete Professional Program seeks to provide students with innovative workplace development training that helps them "earn their stripes" and become ready to compete effectively in today's demanding job market.
Other community partners have also joined Fogelman to help prepare FCBE students for today's workplace. These strategic partners include CB Richard Ellis Memphis, Cummins of the Mid-south, First Tennessee Bank, FedEx Services, FedEx Express, International Paper, Northwestern Mutual, Methodist LeBonheur Healthcare, and Reynolds Bone & Griesbeck.
Through these collaborative relationships, professionals join the faculty and staff in the Avron B. Fogelman Professional Development Center to provide professional development training and support for upcoming business graduates. This distinctive approach helps to prepare students holistically for the demands of today's business world. In addition, this programming provides professionally prepared graduates for the Memphis and Shelby County in order to retain top talent in our community.

CONGRATULATIONS SPRING 2015 CPP STUDENTS!
A record number of 107 students successfully met the requirements of The Complete Professional Program this academic year. On April 23, 2015 the spring semester students were honored at a recognition event featuring keynote speaker, Mrs. Bathsheba Sams from International Paper. Sams presented a wonderful message how to prepare for the workplace and most importantly, lifelong pointers for personal success.
A brief reception followed for networking with key partners including the North American Recruiting Team of International Paper, faculty, and staff. Students are featured below at the event. Each student received a certificate, lapel pin, and personalized business cards to recognize their completion of the program.
