To Prepare and Place

"It's our responsibility to prepare students for tomorrow; our community partners need future leaders who are polished and professional as they grow their organizations." - Dean Rajiv Grover

The Professional Development Center (PDC) was created to provide business majors a distinctive edge through a variety of opportunities designed to complement their academic coursework. Our unique holistic approach prepares students to meet the demands of today's competitive business world while providing our business partners a first-hand look at the top talent coming out of Fogelman College. Thanks to the support of entrepreneur and business leader Avron B. Fogelman, the PDC offers an impressive list of programs, as well as career coaching services, including resume workshops, mock interviews, and internship placement assistance.

INTERNSHIPS

Our mid-south community partners (corporations, small businesses, non-profit organizations, government agencies) have been highly supportive of hiring Fogelman business students as interns. The goal is to prepare and place students, while keeping our top talent right here in Memphis!

If you'd like to explore how to develop an internship program with the Fogelman College of Business and Economics, email Carolyn Cates, Assistant Director, for more information. Click here to post an internship or early entry job opportunity on our Fogelman Internship Network.

COMPLETE PROFESSIONAL PROGRAM

Through a variety of seminars and training modules that focus on different areas of professional growth, the Complete Professional Program strives to produce graduates who are educated, ethical, polished, healthy, and community-oriented. Click here to learn more!

"Our cutting edge approach teaches students to productively chart a successful career path in our community. These programs, we believe, are the future cornerstone for student and employer engagement." - Dr. Kathy Tuberville, Director
