Srushya Krishnan

Hometown: Saint Louis, Missouri

Education and Career Background: I attended Saint Louis University where I received my B.A. in Psychology with a Women’s Studies Minor. Then I received my M.Ed. in Counseling Psychology at the University of Missouri-Columbia. I am also a former Adjunct Professor at Bentley University where I taught Cross-Cultural Psychology Spring 2022.

Research Interests: Gender and Sexual Minorities, Intimate Partner Violence, South Asian Communities

Current Research Team Membership: Constructivist Sexuality Lab (Bridges)

Graduate Assistantship: I am a RA for Dr Lease.

Why you chose UofM: I was interested in working with Dr Bridges because of shared research interests of gender and sexual minorities.

Interests Outside of Academics: Reading (Romance, Contemporary, Mystery, Thriller, Paranormal, Science Fiction, True Crime), Swimming, Playing Video Games (Animal Crossing, Stardew Valley, Disney Magical World 2, Miitopia, Pokémon, Kirby, Super Mario Odyssey), Adult Coloring Books and Makeup.
