❖ IoT Infrastructure Security
This workshop will be hosted by North Carolina A&T University. It will cover the security
and ethical issues of the vast implementation of smart devices. The major goal of
this course is expose students to new developments in the areas of cybersecurity for
IoT. It will cover the following topics: Communication and networking in IoT, Real-time
data collection and analysis in IoT, Security threats and techniques in IoT, Data
trustworthiness and privacy in IoT, Relevant case studies of IoT security vulnerabilities
and attacks, and mitigation controls, etc.

❖ Industrial Control Systems and Renewable Energy (ICS-RE) Security
This workshop will be hosted by the University of West Florida. It focuses on Industrial Controls Systems and Renewable Energy security. The emphasis is on models and types of Industrial Control Systems (ICS), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, Renewable Energy generation and distribution, ICS hardware, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), ICS networks and protocols, control logic software development, Human Machine Interface (HMI) development for ICS, ICS security, firewalls and common ICS vulnerability assessment.
