How to Compress Attachments into a Zipped File

Are you looking to save space on your computer or easily share multiple images at once? Compressing images into a zipped file is a simple and effective solution. If you're new to zipping files, don't worry – we've got you covered! Follow these easy steps to compress your images into a zipped file:

Step 1: Select Your Images

Start by selecting the images you want to compress. You can do this by holding down the Ctrl key (Command key on Mac) while clicking on each image. Choose as many images as you like – they will all be included in the zipped file.

Step 2: Right-Click to Open the Context Menu

Once you've selected your images, right-click on one of the selected images. This will open a context menu with various options.

Step 3: Choose "Send to" and then "Compressed (zipped) folder"

In the context menu, look for the "Send to" option. Hover over it, and then select "Compressed (zipped) folder" from the sub-menu. On Mac, look for a "Compress" option and select it. This action will create a new zipped folder that contains all the selected images.

Step 4: Name Your Zipped Folder

A new zipped folder will appear in the same location as your original images. You can rename this folder to something descriptive if you wish. This step is optional but can be helpful for organization.

Step 5: Transfer or Share Your Zipped Folder

Now that your images are compressed into a zipped file, you can easily transfer or share them. Simply send the zipped folder containing your images via email, upload it to a cloud storage service, or transfer it to a USB drive.

Compressing images into a zipped file is a great way to save space and streamline the process of sharing multiple images.
