Dynamic Performance Improvement of Grid-Connected Photovoltaic (Pv) System By Nonlinear Controlled Devices
ABSTRACT: This dissertation proposes nonlinear controller based fault current limiters (FCLs) to enhance the transient stability of multi-machine power systems. The performance of the proposed FCLs is compared with that of other auxiliary devices. The effect of cyber-attack on the controller performance is also investigated. Simulation results of both balanced and unbalanced permanent and temporary faults at different points of test systems indicate that the proposed FCLs can enhance the transient stability of the power system well. Moreover, their performance is better that that of other auxiliary devices. Also, the cyber-attack has negative effect on the controller performance against transient stability.
