Long-Term Disability
The University of Memphis is partnering with the Tennessee Board of Regents to offer long-term disability (LTD) coverage to our eligible employees. The vendor offering this coverage is named Reliance Standard.
The special open enrollment period for this insurance has closed. LTD will be among the options for regular benefits open enrollment in the fall.

PLEASE NOTE: Employees who were already enrolled in LTD through our previous vendor have already been transferred to this new vendor. These employees do not need to take any action if no changes are desired.

Tennessee Board of Regents voluntary long-term disability plan replaces up to 60 percent of an employee’s base salary to a maximum monthly benefit of $7,000. Premium rates for this voluntary long term disability plan are calculated based on annual income.
