EdD Advising

The primary purposes of the doctoral programs in the Department of Instruction and Curriculum Leadership are to prepare candidates for positions as teacher educators and researchers in colleges and universities; or, to produce experts in research and development who can lead initiatives to analyze, implement, and evaluate instructional materials and learning environments.

Admissions

Students must meet the admission standards of the University and the Department. For initial questions about admission please see the ICL Admissions page

Advising

Please contact Mrs. Shelby Tate for specific questions about a certain concentration area, general issues, and any problems with registration. Once students are admitted to the program, they will be assigned to a faculty advisor from their area of concentration. Students should refer to their faculty advisor with any questions regarding coursework and degree requirements.
