My research interests have included cognitive science, artificial general intelligence, computational modeling of medical diagnosis, and computational modeling of chess-related cognition. Due to my teaching appointment, my focus has shifted to the pedagogical applications of generative AI and teaching AI literacy in the context of engineering education.
