The New Debtors' Prison

The New Debtors' Prison is a project created by a class of journalism students at the University of Memphis in the spring of 2015. It drew inspiration from Michelle Alexander's The New Jim Crow and from the release of the Department of Justice's report on Ferguson, Missouri.
