Transfer and Adult Orientation

Our sessions for transfer and adult students are specifically designed for new freshmen 23 years of age and older and all new transfer students. You will have the opportunity to meet other students, faculty, and staff; discover activities and services available to you as a student; have your student ID made; and tour the campus. Orientation information for transfer and adult students will be mailed out soon!

August 10th

New transfer and adult students may schedule appointments with their academic advisors as soon as they are admitted to the University of Memphis, and appointments should take place prior to attending Orientation. Academic advising is required before registering for courses each semester. After you have met with your advisor, you will be cleared to register on the MyMemphis portal.

For academic advising appointments, transfer students may contact their college academic advisors. New adult freshmen students or undecided transfer students may contact the UofM Lambuth for advising at (731) 425-1906.
