When a stranger, just released from prison, seeks to find a new start in a small, rural town, she picks what she thinks is the ideal setting and meets a host of characters in need of hope and healing. The fun really begins when they decide to hold a lottery for the Spitfire Grill selling it and the town as the most idyllic place on Earth. Soon the dollar bills and letters start rolling in. It seems lots of folks are looking for the perfect place to live. And our stranger discovers her home where she never thought she'd find it.
