The overall health of the official University of Memphis web site is key to our overall plan to offer the best of the web for our students, faculty, staff, visitors and alumni, as well as our partners within the university community.
For our overall web health, equity, and wellness, The University utilizes Siteimprove, an All-in-One Website Management Software.
Siteimprove Academy
Web administrators, developers, content creators and maintainers of The UofM web site rely on Siteimprove for overall consistency and maintenance of the health of university web pages. Users are encouraged to make use of these web analysis tools to assist with the overall health of web content. Siteimprove Academy training is available and required upon entrance to our content management system to maintain web content.
To begin Siteimprove Academy training, please create a new Siteimprove account.
After you've logged in for the first time select the 'Help Center' menu on the top right-hand side, then select 'Academy'. Once you've moved to the Academy page, select 'Course Library' on the upper left-hand side to begin your training. Once you've completed each of the training programs we'll grant you access to the Siteimprove reports for the sites you will be managing.
Siteimprove offers specific modules for overall health; they include:

- Digital Certainty Index
- Quality Assurance
- Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
Siteimprove Community
Another valuable resource, the Siteimprove Community offers more detail and specifics and discussions to our web maintainers. There are numerous communities to take advantage of; Accessibility, Search Engine Optimization, and Quality Assurance groups, to name a few.
