UofM College of Education Approved For CADREI Membership

October 27, 2023 – For the first time in its history, University of Memphis’s College of Education (COE) is now a member of the Council of Academic Deans from Research Educations Institutions (CADREI).

cadrei logoCADREI is a group of education deans from colleges and universities around the U.S. and Canada. Their purpose is supporting members through plans, programs, and policies to make education colleges more effective at their work. The group currently has around 150 members.

“We are honored that our college is a CADREI-affiliate and look forward to being a contributing member of this network,” said UofM COE Dean Dr. Kandi Hill-Clarke.

“Dean Hill-Clarke joins CADREI as a valuable member of the membership and brings an experienced and scholarly focus to our work,” said CADREI’s President-Elect Laura Kohn-Wood.

This membership makes UofM only one of two universities in Tennessee to have a CADREI membership, the other being UT Knoxville.
