Internship Eligibility
Students preparing for internship must meet the following requirements. Confirmation of GPA, courses completed, and remaining graduation requirements can be found on UMDegree.
Internship Readiness
Review the eligibility standards, gather your documentation, and coordinate with your advisor to ensure a seamless transition into your internship.
Step 1: Coordinate with Your Advisor
Before applying, it is essential to check in with your academic advisor. They will verify that you are on track to meet all internship requirements and that your course sequence is properly aligned for graduation.
Eligibility Criteria
Students are eligible to apply for an internship if:
- All major classes have been completed with a C- or greater, OR the student is currently enrolled in the remaining major classes in the current semester. (Check UMDegree for specifics).
- The student currently holds a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or greater.
Required Documentation
- Updated Professional Resume
- Copy of up-to-date CPR certification
- Active student profile (See "How to Apply" for login setup)
