Biography

Robert Garrett, Ph.D. joined FCBE as dean in fall 2023. From 2013-2023, Garrett served at the University of Louisville as the Brown & Williamson Professor of Entrepreneurship, associate dean for Faculty Affairs and the director of the Forcht Center for Entrepreneurship. Prior to Louisville, he taught at Oregon State University where he won Family Business Researcher of the Year. His primary research focus is in Corporate Entrepreneurship and his articles on the topic of internal corporate venturing have appeared in elite Entrepreneurship journals including Journal of Business Venturing, Entrepreneurship Theory & Practice and Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal.
