NSF Faculty Early Career Development Program

2023 NSF CAREER cohort sign-up is available on the UofM InfoReady site through March 15

We are approaching the kick-off of this year’s NSF Faculty Early Career Development Program (CAREER) for both the first-time submission and resubmission cohorts. The NSF CAREER Cohort is designed to help junior faculty (i.e., tenure-track, but currently untenured and with the title of Assistant Professor) improve their chances of funding from NSF and includes training, workshops, and professional editing and review services. The Division of Research & Innovation prioritizes these awards as they serve as a strong foundation for future funding.

The 2023 Cohort Kick-off meetings for first-time submitters and those resubmitting from 2022 will be held in the latter half of March. Workshops, Q&A sessions, and one-on-one meetings will be scheduled thereafter leading up to the submission deadline of July 26, 2023. A detailed schedule will be provided to all participants after the sign-up closes on March 15.

If you are planning to participate in this year’s CAREER cohort, please sign up using the application link on our InfoReady website: https://memphis.infoready4.com/#research. The solicitation for the NSF CAREER program can be found at https://www.nsf.gov/pubs/2022/nsf22586/nsf22586.htm.
