Strategic Planning and Goals for FY24

The Division of Research & Innovation work to set goals to grow research efforts for the next year.

The Division of Research & Innovation recently held their annual Strategic Planning Retreat at the Pickwick Landing State Park, located in Counce, TN. This three-day intensive gathering brings the division together to plan and organize for the upcoming year, plan collaborations to further build the research infrastructure at the University, as well as strengthen interdepartmental workflows to better serve UofM research faculty.

The division includes the following departments/units: Research Development, Research Compliance, Research Enterprise Services (Pre / Post Awards – previously known as Office of Sponsored Programs and Grants Accounting), Animal Care, IACUC, IRB, Office of Technology Transfer, and the FedEx Institute of Technology. Both division faculty and staff participated and were able to contribute to the building of programming for FY24.
