UofM NSF Faculty Early Career Development Program (CAREER)
2024 NSF CAREER cohort registration available on UofM InfoReady through March 13
We are approaching the kick-off of this year’s NSF Faculty Early Career Development Program (CAREER) for both the first-time submission and resubmission cohorts. The NSF Faculty Early Career Development Program (CAREER) Cohort is designed to help junior faculty improve their chances of funding from NSF. The Division of Research & Innovation prioritizes these awards as they serve as a strong foundation for future funding. All recipients of NSF CAREER awards are given the designation of UMRF Ventures Assistant Professor, which includes a stipend to advance your work. Active participation in all aspects of this program is critical and you are expected to comply with the proposal development timeline provided.
The 2024 Cohort Kick-off meetings for first-time submitters and people resubmitting from 2023 will be held virtually via Zoom on March 20, 12-1 PM. Workshops, Q&A sessions, and one-on-one meetings will be scheduled thereafter leading up to the submission deadline of July 24, 2024. Professional editing and review services will be provided as participants develop their proposals. A detailed schedule will be provided to all participants after the sign-up closes.
