Recording Studio

NOTE: There is a 2-Hour Limit to Recording Studio Time Reservation.

Information Technology Services is excited to offer a  recording studio. This is for faculty who are seeking to pre-record lectures utilizing state of the art equipment.  This space is available by reservation Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM. A technician will be on hand to assist with setup and guide your experience. Assistance exporting the capture to an appropriate format will be provided. Just remember, bring your USB device or cloud storage location with you.

Below details some of the technology at hand in the new studio. We also recommend that you see it for yourself. If you are interested in scheduling a recording time, or making an appointment to tour the space, please use the email. Link to email is found at the bottom of this page and an ITS employee will be in touch. We look forward to working with you! (See the link to the policy IT6003 - Acceptable Use of Information Technology Resources.)

Recording Studio Features:

Learning Glass Technology

learning glass

Learning Glass is a powerful tool for video presentations. It enables viewers, students, colleagues, and training participants to learn as if they are in the same room as you. Instructors simply write on the glass as if they were using a whiteboard and it shows directly onto the presentation.  To learn more about Learning Glass visit their website.

Flexible Recording Capability

Record your presentation content using the provided Mac or Windows PC computers. You can also bring your own laptop for recording sessions. In addition, you can see both; the room camera recording and your selected presentation/content at the same time. For recording lectures, there is a video camera provided in the studio. The video records direct content in a flexible layout to a USB flash drive in MP4 format. Custom layouts are available for dual stream recordings.

Record Directly to a USB Flash Drive
