Sport and entertainment business professionals at work in a venue

The Master of Science in Sport Commerce prepares you for management and leadership careers across the sport industry — from professional and collegiate athletics to entertainment, events, sponsorship and sales.

Overview

Coursework centers on sport finance, sport marketing, promotions and strategic management of sport commerce organizations, grounded in research methods and the theory behind the industry.

Guided electives let you shape the degree around your career goals, and the program concludes with a culminating experience — a thesis, practicum or applied project — completed under the guidance of a faculty mentor.

You graduate with industry experience already on your resume.

That culminating experience is where the degree becomes practical: an opportunity to work directly with sport and entertainment organizations and build a professional network before you finish.
