The diverse curriculum of Sport and Entertainment Management develops students with the skills essential to enter careers in marketing, management, event operations, and other administrative or logistical positions in a constantly evolving sport and entertainment marketplace. With diverse experience and expertise, faculty focus on connecting academic knowledge with practical application to help students prepare for the sport and entertainment industry. Students have the flexibility to take courses on campus or online while gaining field experience through numerous opportunities in the Memphis area. Graduates have secured employment with teams, venues, events, collegiate athletic departments, governing bodies, corporate marketing departments, entertainment and marketing agencies, and community organizations.
