What can I do with this major?

Graduates who complete the program requirements are eligible to apply for a supervised practice program, also called a dietetic internship. Dietetic internship graduates are then eligible to take the national registration examination to become a registered dietitian nutritionist.

What is a registered dietitian nutritionist?

Registered dietitian nutritionists are food and nutrition experts who have met the criteria to earn the RDN credential.

How do I apply for this major?

Admission follows the University of Memphis admission criteria and application process. On the application, your major is Health Studies with a concentration in Dietetics.
